Logistics & Export Recycling Pathways

Robinson Metals manages the loading, transport and downstream recycling of processed scrap materials. Depending on grade and volume, materials can be directed to domestic processors or exported to overseas buyers via containerised logistics.

Transport & Loading

Material can be bulked into road-trains, flat-beds, tilt-trays or containers depending on downstream destination and commercial model. Loading plans are developed to suit transport requirements, port restrictions and material handling limitations.

Domestic & Export Pathways

Select grades such as non-ferrous metals and grinding media can attract higher recovery values through overseas buyers where export markets are competitive. Containerisation enables this without requiring client involvement in logistics or buyer management.

Interface with Dismantling Programs

By coordinating logistics internally, Robinson Metals removes the need for clients to manage freight contractors, container bookings, port logistics or recycling buyers. This reduces the number of project interfaces and ensures that dismantling, processing and recycling activities are delivered under a unified scope.

Client Outcomes

  • simplified logistics and disposal

  • improved recovery for select grades

  • reduced client freight management

  • compliant downstream disposal

  • cleaner hand-over for closure & shutdown
