ABOUT ROBINSON METALS

Robinson Metals specialises in end-to-end removal of redundant mining assets and scrap from remote and regional operations. We dismantle and recover heavy equipment, clean up legacy stockpiles and manage ongoing scrap streams from shutdowns and maintenance — without disrupting production.

We support mining operations, mining contractors, OEM rebuild yards and downstream scrap processors across Western Australia and the NT gold belt.

Robinson Metals is a Western Australian business with deep experience in metal recovery and mine-site asset removal. For more than 15 years we’ve worked across the Tier-1 mining space dismantling large mining equipment, clearing shutdown scrap and supporting remote operations with recycling and logistics solutions.

We operate as an end-to-end contractor — sizing, dismantling, loading and coordinating the transport of materials off site. We handle the permits, JHAs, crane interface and downstream recycling pathways so supervisors and maintenance crews don’t need to manage multiple vendors to solve one problem.

Remote and regional work is a core part of what we do. We mobilise self-sufficient crews with crib, water, fuel and logistics sorted, and we operate independently under signed permits and hot works without requiring constant supervision.

We recover and recycle ferrous and non-ferrous metals, high-chrome scrap, mill liners, mill balls, motors, cable, poly pipe, conveyor belt and other materials generated by gold operations. Where possible we divert materials from landfill and provide reporting for environmental or closure requirements.

HISTORY
Robinson Metals began as a metal recovery business supporting mining and industrial clients in Western Australia. Over time we expanded into dismantling and removal of heavy mining equipment, shutdown scrap and rebuild yard materials. Today we operate as a remote asset removal and scrap management contractor serving mining operations across WA and the NT gold belt.

MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to remove redundant assets and scrap from remote mine sites safely, efficiently and with minimal production impact — supporting continuous operations and sustainable recycling outcomes.

THE ROBINSON METALS DIFFERENCE
• end-to-end removal — dismantling, sizing, loading & transport coordination
• remote-ready crews — self-sufficient mobilisation with low supervision burden
• heavy asset capability — 600–800t equipment dismantling
• continuous scrap pipeline — backlog + ongoing shutdown scrap
• environmental recycling pathways — landfill diversion & downstream coordination
• mining experience — shutdowns, rebuild yards & Tier-1 site compliance
