Mining Asset Dismantling & Removal
Robinson Metals delivers safe dismantling and removal solutions for redundant mining equipment, fixed plant and associated infrastructure. Our crews dismantle, cut, segregate and prepare assets for loading, transport and downstream recycling pathways.
We support mine clean-ups, shutdown works, rebuild yards and asset retirement projects, with work delivered under site permit systems and client HSE controls.
Scope Of Work
Dismantling and removal of complete end-of-life mining assets, including excavators, shovels, loaders, dump trucks, dump trays, mills, crushers, tanks, process plant steelwork, structural frames and non-ferrous equipment. Assets can be downsized on site to suit transport, recycling or containerisation requirements.
Execution & Controls
Works are delivered under site permit systems, JHAs, Take-5s, hot work permits, isolations, lock-out procedures, lift plans and spotter requirements. Crews interface directly with client HSE, maintenance and operations teams to maintain safe, coordinated execution.
Dismantling Methods
Work can be completed using a combination of oxy cutting, mechanical dismantling, excavator shears, bolted component removal, crane lifts, EWP access and controlled downsizing methods. Materials are separated where practical to support loading, transport, recycling and value recovery.

Downstream Pathways
Material can be bulked into road trains, flat-tops or containers for downstream recycling, depending on grade, volume and commercial viability. Where required, Robinson Metals can provide reporting on recovered tonnages, recycling streams and landfill diversion performance.
